With the advent of cooler weather, and Christmas being not that far off, it’s time to resume leafleting the City of Alexandria. Plus, Donald Trump, Sugarland Chiow and Bob Malm notwithstanding, doing so is an important reminder that the First Amendment is still there, and still protects free speech.
Here’s a copy of the item that will be left at homes across key areas of the city. By posting it here, we can all be clear that it is not, in fact, threatening.
Plans are to initially do 2,000 homes in key areas, then do 500 additional homes per week throughout Old Town and Del Ray. And yes, that will include homes near, but not including, Casa Sugarland.
