DC-area news media report that Christ Church, an Episcopal church in Georgetown, likely was exposed to the new coronavirus. As a result, the DC department of health has recommended that the church suspend services while it investigates for possible public exposure to the virus.
In her Twitter account, church member Carol Ross Joyner states that it is the rector of the church, the Rev. Timothy Cole, who is patient zero for DC. She adds that the church is closed.
